Good news: you do not need to do much

A professional detailing studio handles the entire preparation process - from pre-wash to final inspection. You do not need to wash the car before arrival. Still, a few simple things on your side will make the visit smoother.

What is worth doing before the visit?

1. Empty the interior of personal items

Take out documents, bags, chargers, child seats and anything lying on the seats, floor or in the storage spaces. The detailer needs free access to every corner - if the interior is full of belongings, the service takes longer or may be limited.

2. Tell us about problems and priorities

Point out what bothers you most: a stain on the upholstery, a scratch on the door, dullness on the bonnet. The more you know about your car and your expectations, the more accurate the quote and recommendation will be.

3. Mention any non-standard accessories

Custom audio, interior tuning, expensive finishes, decals and wraps - it is worth mentioning them so we can handle them with the right level of care.

4. Plan for time without the car

Detailing can take anywhere from a few hours (wash + quick detail) to 2-3 days (full paint correction + ceramic coating). Check the estimated time with us before the visit and make sure you have a way to get home or to work.

What not to do before the visit

Do not use an automatic car wash

An automatic brush wash is one of the main causes of swirls and holograms on paint. If you are coming in for paint correction or ceramic coating, do not go through an automatic wash before the appointment. It only creates more work to undo.

Do not apply wax or protective products

If you are planning ceramic coating or paint correction, do not apply any protective products yourself. They have to be removed before the actual service, which increases the time and cost.

Do not leave a wet car outside overnight before the appointment

A wet car attracts dust, pollen and other contaminants that stick to the surface. A dry car is easier to inspect properly.

What to bring with you

  • Registration document - standard if the car is being left for longer.
  • Phone number - we may contact you with questions or decisions during the work.
  • Information about paint history - has the car had any spot repairs? That matters for correction work.

What we do after receiving the car

Before we start any work, we perform an inspection - we check the condition of the paint and interior and identify defects. Based on that, we discuss the scope and service conditions. Nothing is done without your clear approval.
